This is a great find. Reproduction. This is a  matched pair of RAF 1941 Pattern flying gauntlets. New condition. Includes solid brass slant zip zippers with leather pull tabs. Elasticized wrists with expanding gusset on the back of the gauntlet. Stunning chestnut brown leather. Expensive and labor intensive construction. Includes original style label with  stock number 22C/756-765. These are ideally suited for wear with bulky sheepskin flying jackets or perfect with lightweight leather flight jackets.
